Dynamic wrinkles appear when you make expressions (e.g. squinting or smiling). Botox works very well for these — it relaxes the muscle to soften existing lines and prevent them from setting permanently. Static wrinkles are visible even when your face is at rest. Botox alone will not erase static wrinkles — the doctor may recommend skin boosters or collagen biostimulators such as Juvelook or Profhilo to thicken the dermis and reduce their appearance over time.

Yes, but please do so gently. Do not rub the affected area which may contribute to bruising and swelling.
Avoid exercise for 24 hours, as elevated blood pressure can increase bruising and swelling. Stay upright for 4 hours after treatment. Avoid facial massages, facials, and dental treatments for 2 weeks. Avoid alcohol for 24–48 hours. A facial sheet mask is fine 4 hours after treatment. Body massage is fine after Botox.
Botox is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, for patients with neuromuscular disorders such as myasthenia gravis, those with known allergy to botulinum toxin, or with active skin infection at the injection site.
